Slow Down & Cool Off

Well, I wanted a break, and I think I'm truly there now. It looks like traffic and frequency of ratings on keep on the borderlands is slowing down. I'm not patching it like crazy (which is good), and I have time to play other NWN2 mods and I picked up Half Life 2 - Episode 1, which crashed the computer badly every time until I found a post suggesting I run it in directX 8.1 mode. Now it's fine. Some strange artifacts in the reflection on the metal walls, but it is still very fun.

The feedback on the module has been great and inspirational. I really need a break, but it is oh so tempting to write again. Having something nicely received by players is a very strong motivator. I'm still retired, or semi-retired... for a while.

Some screenshots from todays work on Hythum. I've been putting this area together all week and it's nearly done. If I have been producing like this during my entire recovery I'd be sitting pretty. Oh well. I don't like some of the weeds in the middle of the road and need to clean them up but overall I am quite happy with what I have.

Hang it up?

Ever want to hang it up? I'm modding now and am likely to continue for an hour or so but in the same breath part of me wants to hang it up. Just a little burn out. It will pass. This is a good activity for me while my foot is healing. :-)

5e Conversion Guide of S4 The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth

I've just released a  5e D&D conversion of the various monsters, magic items, and creature encounters for the classic adventure S4: The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. The original module is required to use this conversion guide. This guide includes stat blocks for more than 15 new monsters in addition to new magic items and artifacts. Here's a link to the conversion guide on DMs Guild.
