Bit O' Modding

The recovery continues. Somehow I had pictured myself with my foot up at my computer doing hours upon hours of modding. Unfortunately I've spent hours upon hours in my recliner or in bed. I'm still relaxing but I miss modding. The few hours I can manage at the computer are designated for telecommuting to work.

This after noon I decided to take a crack at modding for just a bit. I spend about 30-40 minutes on an area. Not much done, fixed a few tiles, added some rugs, a tapestry a table and some doors, but the toolset was open and forward progress however modest has been achieved.

So with my foot throbbing (it really is throbbing now) I'm shutting down and headed back to the la-z-boy

  1. What a great opportunity for a BSG marathon, no? :)

    Hope you get well soon!

  2. Well done! That's a lot more job done than I was able to. And I was just a bit tired. Holding the foot high when working with the computer would probably be the best thing to do but imagine how silly it would look :))

BTW a fun thing I'll try next time I got to stay in bed for the flue or something. The toolset works sort of standalone so I can run it on my old portable while laying down.

  3. I've actually watched all three Lord of the Rings movies. While resting.

We recently watched ALL of BSG with my eldest son to get him caught up, but that was prior to surgery.

I've been working in the morning for as long as I can before becoming too uncomfortable, then I move back to chair. I really had envisioned a massive chunk of modding, but I suppose it was not a realistic expectation. At least I am healing well. :-)

  4. I'm happy your healing well Ernie. You'll be up and around before you know it :)

Maybe you will get some good modding in before you have to go back to work and after enough pain is gone.

good to see ya blogging though :)

  5. The pain is becoming quite managable most of the time. I just can't get around very efficiently. I'm able to work for 4 hours at my desk with my foot up ok. The itching is crazy.
