Skypecast on Current Module Develpment

I participated in a Skypecast about Modules Currently in Development last night. I was part of a panel of including LadyElvenStar, Amraphael, Raith Veldrin, Delak, Nalencer, Wyrin, and a few others (my apologies for the incomplete list).

It was a fun and fascinating experience. My thanks to all of the participants and to Jay and Michele of Neverwinter Podcast for setting it up. I think they are going to have a recording of the event available soon, and I'll post a link when it's up.

  1. I do believe it will be released in EP 46. Which is two EP's away. Don't quote me on it though :p

Once all the pausing is removed, it will be a lot shorter than it seemed. lol

    Thank Ernie! You did awesome!

  3. Thanks! I had fun and found it to be very productive. I did not feel I was quiet as articulate as I was during my one on one interview. I was thinking on my feet and trying not to talk over or interrupt thoughts, so I'm glad to hear you thought I came across ok.

  6. it was strange not seeing the others about to speak - i never could get the hang of teleconferencing. But you did great.

  7. Thanks Wyrin. I wish they had some indication of who was speaking. It was very difficult for me to determine who was who, I could always pick out Michele and Eva but I know Michele's voice well and Eva was obviously the only other lady.

  8. speaking out or in turn during something like this.

My only advice. If the air is dead for more than 5 seconds, jump in if you have something to say . Even if someone else does at the same time, There is always this situation. Typically someone will say "Go ahead" hehe. It is like having a large family all trying to talk at the same time. If you think about it. Getting a large group in the same room together, it never is a smooth "take your turn" out come. People over lap each other. In my opinion, that gives it the flavor of a real discussion.

Now, I'm not saying be rude and start talking "while" someone else is. I am saying. if there is an opportunity. jump!

btw 5 seconds of dead air time is a lot to a listener.

    :)
