Limited modding work. Picture of sculpture by my son.

I've been busy playing Jedi Knight II with my youngest son, so very little modding work is being done, but there is some. I have some projects around the house this weekend so progress will be limited.

Here's a picture of a sculpture my youngest son did. There are more on my personal blog. (see link at right).

  1. Kind of reminds me of a cross between Dr Evil and Number One.

I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know I have started my own blog based on the project i am doing for NWN2.

In a nutshell (to carry on the Austin Powers pun) it will be a template that others can use to create their own persistent worlds.

  2. How I'd you get so talented kids? Are you serving them some strange breakfast cereals from Area 51? If so I want them too! The head was very detailed and really good looking. I think it's cool that his parents lets him explorer the artistic side. I've friends that would freak out if their son made a cool one eyed head and they woulden't even notice the artsy and creative side of it.

I gave him a bunch of DnD Chainmail figures, lots of paint and my old DnD monster manual for chrismas. He loved it and already doing shading and dye-brushin like an pro. I've promised the parents not to do it again, and don't speak about dragons and dinosaurs too. But I've a lousy memory :) You got to fuel creativity whe you see it.

  3. @enigmatic. I think it's pretty darn cool. My eldest son is talented, and I don't think that is fatherly pride. He's not getting his artistic gift from me. I'm thrilled with all of his artwork. He's a pretty good writer to, he definitely has a unique 'voice' when he tells a story.

@amraphael. We couldn't identify the last set of potions we hauled back from our last adventure and we've been using them in the kids cereal. :-) Your response is pretty funny, I'm going to make sure my wife reads that she's really going to get a kick out of it.

I've always encouraged him to develop his artistic gifts but I've also told him if he chooses to do something completely different that is fine. As long as he picks something and works hard at it, I'll be more than happy.
