Hythum work completed over the weekend

I've got most of the work done on the Port Leaton sewers. The layout, water, lighting, fog, effects, and sound are done. Still need some placeables, but it's close. Take a look and see what I got done yesterday...

  1. Should we call the biohazard people? That is some nasty looking green'ness! Awesome screenies though! hehe

  2. Don't worry, the air is perfectly safe in small doses. :-)

  4. Your thinking about it all wrong. That color should remind you of happy lime jello.

  5. Jello. Ok, I just got flash backs of green hospital jello and my tonsils being ripped from my throat!

Thanks Ernie. Now I'm gonna need a night light for bed time!

    "drama effect" oh the horror!!!!

  7. These are great screens. Very atmospheric and creepy. Are you using any desaturation in them?

  8. Thanks! I'm not using any desaturation, I experimented with it in another area and found it difficult made the area look too washed out. I have seen it used nicely in MOTB and I believe you put it to good use in an area of H&C.

  9. Great lighting and fog effects there, bud!

  10. Cool. Yeah, I tried desaturating my High Tower interior and it did end up making it look washed-out too. It's a tricky tool to use.

I think making the colors and lighting muted, as you've clearly done really well here, is probably the most important thing.

Thanks for the comments on my blog, by the way!

  11. @jclef - Thanks! Much appreciated!

@maerduin - I wanted an area to be just slightly desaturated, but turning it on just a little seemed pretty harsh both in the toolset and the game, I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't critical for me so I didn't worry too much about it.
