Hythum - In Transit

I finished up the sub-module I was working on. The last area was not hard to build thanks to airships from Amraphael. I need an 'in transit' area. Dropped the ground to -95 with noise, and put the airship at about +80 with lots of white fog below and around the ship. It looks pretty cool.

Tomorrow looks like no modding work. Too many other commitments.

  1. That does look cool. I am looking forward to this module. The airship idea is awesome.

I am hoping that someone will take up the project of recreating Spelljammer in NWN2. For some reason I loved that setting.

  2. I never played Spelljammer but I am familiar with it. I used to use Grayhawk a bit but by the time Forgotten realms came about I was using all custom worlds. Glad you liked the screen shots.

  3. Last time I flew on an airship was around Final Fantasy 2 ... or maybe it was 3.

Anyway, really looking forward to flying that thing - this is gonna rock!

  4. Most of the credit must go to Amraphael, who created the airship for me. Glad you guys like it. The feedback is appreciated!

  5. Do you have some cool sound for the ship crusing through the air? I would imagine some slow, "Flap, flap, flap" from the propellar, the wind and the ship hull creaking.

I really like the image with the stars below.

  6. I have wind, but need creaking sounds. Darmok suggested adjusting the cloud speed and direction, which I'll do the next time I have a few minutes to mod.

  7. Nice job. I especially like the first shot showing the ground and fog below. Very convincing. Almost looks like Flight Simulator with one of those community made aircrafts.

  8. I'll be wracking up my frequent flier mileage for sure! Great job!

  9. I'll be sure there are peanuts or pretzels on board. :-)

  10. Very cool shots! I haven't been playing NWN2 for several, several months. But now that I was checking out some of my fave blogs... Wow. There's a whole bunch of awesome-looking stuff in progress! Not that I'll be having any time to play, probably... But it's great to see that the community is still flourishing. Well, at least I updated the game. :)

    Hope all is well! Cheers!

  11. It's going to be a while before Hythum is finished, but I hope you enjoy it when it's complete.
