Battlestar Galactica Season 4 Starts Tonight

Woo hoo! If you are not watching this show you should be.

I've got a busy week ahead with various personal obligations. My blogging will trail off for a week or a week and a half, but just like Arnold, 'I will be back'.

  2. One of the best shows on television. As sad as I am to see this last season come and go, I realize that it must lest we have Scilons on freaking flying skateboards ala 1982 all over again.

  3. As they say, all good things must come to an end. Its the fact that it has an end which helps give it value.

But I have to say, this was one of the better science fiction shows to come out in a long time. What I love most about it is that you could strip away the space travel, technology, robots and futuristic setting and you would still have a gripping and compelling story because its all about the people and how they deal with the obsticles that are put in front of them and how they deal with being in a situation where everything they know is gone and still having to "live" their lives no matter how bad it seems.

Something completely different that I am really, really looking forward to is the Sam Rami 22-episode TV series adaptation of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth. If anything is the embodiment of what D&D is meant to be, I think this is probably the closest thing we will have

  5. I was quite busy with personal obligations last night, but I did wind up at home with the kids in bed by 9pm so I was lucky enough to watch, rather than have to catch on tape in a few days.

I thought it was a good opener to the 4th season. The 1st 15 minutes were jaw dropping, then it settled in and start sorting out the 'mess' made by the big changes from the season final last year.

    It's a good start.
