Neverwinter Podcast Interview

Episode 40 of Neverwinter Podcast is now online. Episode 40 marks the 1 year anniversary of Neverwinter Podcast, and it also includes an interview with me! I haven't listened yet, I'm downloading as I write, but I am thrilled and excited! I had a blast chatting and working with Michele, Jay and Trey, the hosts of Neverwinter Podcast, and I am grateful to have been invited and included.

Here's a link to Neverwinter Podcast Episode 40, with my interview. I'll add a persistent link on the side menu too.

Looks like the download is done. Time to listen!

  1. Great interview! You're an accomplished speaker and it's great to see the Podcast's focus on builders. If I hadn't already played your mods I would definitely want to!

Hope your retirement ends soon :)

  2. Thanks!

I'm happy with how it turned out and was thrilled to be included and invited to participate.

I have been working on a closed wiki regarding the new project and have just opened the toolset for a few bits of work on a new project.

It looks like Hythum will be updated, revised and improved for NWN2.

  4. Yeah.. I agree with mr. darke.. you have a great speaking voice.. Must be from all the DMing..

So ya know.. I too started D&D in the seventies.. 76 to be precise.. I'm glad to see I'm not alone.

    Thanks for the interview!

  5. Thanks for the posts guys.

I left a comment or posted earlier about the podcast and noted when I started playing. I am always stunned when I find numerous other gamers who are my age or close to my age. Gaming and D&D are still shedding their reputation of being played predominately by younger people.

With that said, and with a post by Hugie/Alex I feel obligated to point out that Alex is writing and building truly amazing stuff, and he was born when my Paper and Pencil games were in there heyday: The college years 1988 - 1992. (Well done Alex).

  6. I started with Metamorphasis Alpha.. that hooked me.. so I bought the three booklets in the white box.. I cut those books up to make a DM screen.. oops.. cest la vie.

Funny.. I'm 42 and I'd still be the youngest in my old group.. aww.. I miss that group.

  8. I listened to this the other night as I was dodging corruption issues and fixing things--your even, articulate, and interesting commentary helped keep me sane. Thanks!

  10. You got some radio voice there! I downloaded it to my Meizu last week but didn't listen to it until yesterday. It was both interestubg and inspiring to listen to it.

  11. Thanks. That's very kind. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The folks at NWPocast are top notch. They are fun to talk to and it felt like I was talking to people I had known for a while, rather than new acquaintances. I had loads of fun.
