This is a 5e D&D conversion guide of the various monsters, creatures, and encounters for the classic module DL7: Dragons of Light. The original module, the Monster Manual, Dungeon Masters Guide, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes are required to use this conversion guide. Monsters of the Multiverse may be used instead of Volo’s Guide to Monsters and Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes.  The adventure is for characters who are levels 7-9. Conversions of the original pre-generated characters are included.


Other 5e conversions of classic Dragonlance adventures are also available:



Seven maps have been prepared of key locations at 70 DPI. Grid and no grid variants of most maps are included. Maps provided include:


  • Southern Ergoth and the Lands of the Elves in Exile
  • Foghaven Vale
  • Map D – The Foghaven Ruins
  • Map E – The Dragon’s Lair
  • Map K  - The Shrine
  • Map M – The Temple Level
  • Map N – The Lower Gallery

Some screenshots from todays work on Hythum. I've been putting this area together all week and it's nearly done. If I have been producing like this during my entire recovery I'd be sitting pretty. Oh well. I don't like some of the weeds in the middle of the road and need to clean them up but overall I am quite happy with what I have.

Hang it up?

Ever want to hang it up? I'm modding now and am likely to continue for an hour or so but in the same breath part of me wants to hang it up. Just a little burn out. It will pass. This is a good activity for me while my foot is healing. :-)

I've just released a  5e D&D conversion of the various monsters, magic items, and creature encounters for the classic adventure S4: The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth. The original module is required to use this conversion guide. This guide includes stat blocks for more than 15 new monsters in addition to new magic items and artifacts.
