NWN2 Lighting Tutorial / Hugging and Kissing

I got a lot of knocks in Keep On the Borderlands regarding lighting. I have found a brief lighting tutorial which gives me some important bits of info I did not have. Anyone know of other lighting tutorials let me know. I posted on the bioware forums looking for help with making a character and NPC hug and or kiss in a cut scene. Perhaps there is something obvious but I haven't started digging yet. I know it was a pain in NWN1, and if you know of a good way to do this or a trick to accomplish it please let me know. Cheers!

Stardust and Hythum

Has anyone else seen the trailer for Stardust. I wasn't even aware of the movie until a few days ago. If you've played Hythum or Hythum II for NWN1, you'll know that airships are featured prominently in the modules. The airship in the trailer immediately made me think of my mods.

Adam Miller

It looks like Adam Miller is about to launch the first part of his NWN2 series Dark Waters. This guys modules are the best I have played for NWN1 hands down. If you haven't played them you should. Check out his web site for more information . Adam noted in his recent post that he works as a web developer and has a few young kids. In that regard he and I are similar. I work as an IT manager and spent half my time developing web sites. I've also got three young kids. My modules have been well received by the community but my work does not hold a candle when compared to the work done my Mr. Miller. I am eagerly awaiting Dark Waters. Good luck Adam!

State of NWN2

There are great posts on the state of NWN2 over on Berliad's blog and at Alazander's blog . I recommend giving them a read. I posted the same comment on both blogs. It really is worth a read.

2006 Module of the Year

NWVault has listed the entries for the 2006 module of the year . Hidden Shrine of Tomoachan , Hythum and Hythum II were up for 2004 mod of the year or 2005 mod of the year, but they didn't do particularly well. Although each mod made the Hall of Fame and were very well received they didn't do too well in the running for mod of the year. They got some votes, but were somewhere in the middle of the pack. This year Eye of the Serpent is up for Mod of the Year 2006 . I have no problem with how things went in previous years, and I don't expect Eye of the Serpent to win this year. I am pleased with my modules, but I think there are better far more deserving mods that should win. ... but as they say. I am thrilled just to be including in the list of eligible mods. * Edited * You know I looked at the list and noticed Hythum II is on the list of nominees. Something is wrong with their list. I know Hythum II was up for 2005 mod of the year, and I think Eye may have been...
